"Beautiful" Scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

Here is a new layout to share - "Beautiful"

For this page I've used the
and treated it first with a coat of gesso then two coats of Colour Blast embossing powder in "Apple of my Eye"

For my background I've chosen this water colour paper and enhanced it with Colour Blast paste in "Apple of my eye" spread with a spatula.

I've also added some stamped circles + embossing powder and hand drawn circles + inks platters.

To finish this page I've added a couple of banners but left my embellishing minimal to allow the large chipboard title and background work to emphasize the photo.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

Journey

Hi, Tanya here again.
Today I am sharing a double page layout of our holiday in New Zealand that we had in
February which seems so long ago now.

The Journey Boxed chipboard piece has been embossed with silver embossing powder. There is also another chipboard piece called Travel Boxed if you are liking these chipboard styles.

The flourish I have used here is again embossed in silver embossing powder. The flourish is called Flourish 104 and is a set of 3 different flourishes.

Treasure

Good Morning !
Mary here to share my layout with you

TREASURE

I have used the Treasure from the Admire, Tresure love You Word pack as my title and then added the wrought iron set of 3 shape for a decoritive piece at the bottom of the page. I sponged both pieces with Distress Oxide "craked pistachio. Super easy, but gave me the soft contrasting colour I was seeking.
Thank you for calling by. I suggest you take a look at the A2Z Blog as the DT girls give wonderful examples of techniques and uses of the chipboard and the shop has sooooo many designs to choose from. We also hope you join in the challenge for your chance to win a fantastic pack of chipboard. You can find the challenge here on facebook.

Happy Creating

Roberts tree by Judith Armstrong

Good morning and welcome to another weekend. Today I have a layout to share about my husband's love of a tree. He has watched this tree grow from a small height over the last 40 years and for some reason he always says hello to it and waves as we drive past it on the Western Highway.

This group of A2Z Scraplets Christmas Trees 2 were just perfect for this layout. I sprayed them with 2 different Lindys Stamp Gang Starbust sprays - Ponderosa pines olive and Bells of Ireland green.

From this angle you can see the shimmer in the spray.

It's a while since I have used these sprays and I really liked the outcome.

Thanks for looking and don't forget about our challenge this month to scrap a project using something new to you, or that you haven't used in a while.

Cheers

Adorable

Hello scrappy friends Mary here today to share a layout with you using the fabulous A2Z Scraplets chipboard pieces.

I have used the second part of the fence chipboard that I had left over other from using the other  piece on a previous page.
Firstly I primed with gesso and then I covered the fence in Fosilized Amber Distress Oxide, added snow white Colour Blast embossing powder in a few places and also rubbed a brown metallic rub on.  I also added a touch of spiced marmalade Distress Oxide.

I used the Adorable Wordlet as my title ( this comes in a pack with two other sentiments ) and as always I primed with gesso ( this helps the addition of products from soaking into the chipboard ) I covered the word with Distress Oxide fozzilized amber and also went over this with a yellow Kaiserfusion pen and went around the edge with a white Signo pen to highlight the word.
I have also used the Wrought Iron Set of 3 shape to act as my Fence hinge and placed the little photo of my eldest son and myself. I embossed the shape with a Holographic powder without adding gesso and it gave a old bronze effect.
I hope I have given you some ideas to use and you can find a amazing selection of chipboard over at the A2Z Scraplets shop.
Don't forget to enter our challenge this month to be in the running to win a pack of chipboard. You can find the challenge at our facebook page. This month we would like you to use a new technique or product on your page
Happy Creating

And so my story begins.....

Hello.....thought it was time to introduce you to Eric!
Eric is my daughters new puppy that has turned our household upside down.  He is
the sweetest little creature that stops me getting things done. He is very distracting with
his cuteness and wanting to play or sleep at my feet the moment I stand still.  I thought
this lovely chipboard title And so my story begins....border was perfect for the first
layout I scrapped of Leah and Eric meeting for the very first time.

The chipboard piece has been embossed with embossing powder. Jump onto the store website to check out other great word borders that are available.

I also used a couple of the small arrows from the A2Z Scraplets Arrow Set 20. I also painted these with gesso and then coloured with a gelato and set with some clear gesso.
